Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Execute machining tasks to meet precise customer specifications.
  • Adjust and change tooling, set up machines, and input commands into CNC systems.
  • Operate CNC machinery and implement control instructions effectively.
  • Review programming specifications to configure machine settings.
  • Modify existing cutting programs as necessary.
  • Manage coolant systems and ensure proper maintenance of machinery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines.
  • Perform manual machining tasks using lathes, drill presses, and milling machines.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Proficient in performing setups, edits, and offsets.
  • Experience with Okuma or Haas machinery is highly desirable.
  • A technical degree or apprenticeship in CNC Machining is preferred.
