We are seeking a qualified Agricultural Lender to join our team at First Bank & Trust Company. The successful candidate will have the ability to cover a wide geographic area and develop new relationships with agricultural producers and agri-businesses.
Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships with customers.
- Assist with the development and implementation of plans and programs to respond to market and regulatory developments.
- Facilitate loan negotiations and ensure timely loan closing and funding activities.
- Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and relationships.
- Work with Credit Administration and Loan Operations to ensure that applicant data is analyzed and loan feasibility is determined.
- Ensure all loans are originated, processed, closed, and serviced in accordance with established lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Agricultural knowledge and/or background.
- Lending experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and networking skills.
