Agricultural Lending Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Agricultural Lender to join our team at First Bank & Trust Company. The successful candidate will have the ability to cover a wide geographic area and develop new relationships with agricultural producers and agri-businesses.

• Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships with customers.
• Assist with the development and implementation of plans and programs to respond to market and regulatory developments.
• Facilitate loan negotiations and ensure timely loan closing and funding activities.
• Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and relationships.
• Work with Credit Administration and Loan Operations to ensure that applicant data is analyzed and loan feasibility is determined.
• Ensure all loans are originated, processed, closed, and serviced in accordance with established lending policies and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Agricultural knowledge and/or background.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
