About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team at Transcend Practice Management. As a Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting our senior advisors in delivering exceptional client-centered service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support to our advisors, including preparing for client meetings, taking notes, and completing follow-up tasks.
  • Participate in client and planning meetings, translating discussions into actionable strategies.
  • Create comprehensive financial plans in Right Capital, incorporating planning strategies, risk management, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow planning, asset allocation, and more.
  • Address client needs and advisor recommendations while maintaining appropriate compliance requirements.
  • Work autonomously within an area of responsibility, as well as collaboratively to contribute to the overall client experience.
  • Evaluate and escalate account or investment problems, bringing them to the attention of the senior advisor as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive communication records using a contact management system, including email, MS Products, and other financial software tools.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in the financial planning area.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Series 7 and 66 required.
  • Life and variable insurance licenses, nice to have.
  • CFP designation a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Paraplanner; 3-5 years in the wealth planning industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Experience with client events and marketing via social media (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
  • Demonstrated job stability and career progression.
