Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize medical procedures to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Administer initial treatment at emergency scenes and transport patients to treatment centers.
- Communicate with physicians and other medical personnel via radio and telephone.
- Complete patient care and billing reports, maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform regular assigned shift duties, maintaining cleaning standards of stations, vehicles, and equipment.
- Complete detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports in a timely manner.
- Use appropriate terminology and tone in radio communication procedures.
- Drive company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies.
- High School diploma or GED
- Current State of Ohio EMS certification
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license with no more than four points and approval by company insurance provider
