POSITION SUMMARY:

The FRP Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating manufacturing operations across all phases of production, including mold preparation, gel coat application, lamination, and finishing processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee the entire production process of the FRP division, focusing on Safety, Quality, Daily Output, and Employee Engagement.
  • Enhance production efficiency and material utilization through Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Maintain high-quality standards by actively engaging with Leads and Employees to ensure precision in each production phase.
  • Provide daily guidance to Leads to align departmental operations with strategic goals and company culture.
  • Compile and analyze monthly performance reports for the department, implementing action plans as necessary.
  • Foster a Safe Work Environment by ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Encourage participation in company 5S and Kaizen activities.
  • Play a pivotal role in the adoption of new processes, equipment, and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or relevant manufacturing experience is preferred. Combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3-7 years of supervisory experience in a fiberglass reinforced plastics manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
