Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the daily operations of the kitchen comply with established guidelines.
Perform food preparation tasks for various ingredients including fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood.
Prepare all dishes according to recipe specifications, adjusting flavors as needed with chef assistance.
Maintain the kitchen area to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Ensure an adequate supply of necessary dishes and utensils, keeping all kitchenware clean and sanitary.
Monitor supply levels in the kitchen and replenish as necessary.
Oversee equipment functionality, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and arrange repairs as needed.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Basic Qualifications:
Some High School education or equivalent.
Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications:
Enrollment in or willingness to pursue a culinary degree.
Previous cooking experience.
Understanding of sanitation practices and knowledge of necessary precautions for a clean food preparation environment.
