Medical Field Specialist

As a Medical Field Specialist with the Army National Guard, you will be trained to provide expert care to civilians and soldiers in emergency situations. Your role will be to administer emergency medical treatment, assist with outpatient and inpatient care, and instruct soldiers on lifesaving techniques. You will also be responsible for managing medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that our soldiers have the tools they need to stay safe and healthy.
Job DescriptionYour day-to-day tasks as a Medical Field Specialist will include:
- Administering emergency medical treatment to individuals in need
- Assisting with outpatient and inpatient care, including administering medications and performing medical procedures
- Instructing soldiers on lifesaving techniques, such as CPR and first aid
- Managing medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that our soldiers have the tools they need to stay safe and healthy
- Working with medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to our soldiers
As a Medical Field Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop a range of skills, including:

RequirementsTo become a Medical Field Specialist with the Army National Guard, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
