Oversee Construction Operations at Our Hospital Project

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our on-site team and oversee the construction of a hospital project in White Plains, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of safety requirements and drive EHS initiatives on site.
  • Directly supervise foremen, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
  • Test the quality of work in progress to minimize rework through daily monitoring of resources.
  • Manage commercial outcomes by ensuring subcontractors understand performance expectations.
  • Raise concerns relating to compliance implications for the team or project.
  • Deliver to quality expectations by understanding deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, sequencing logic, and temporary works.
  • Manage site program, maintain an accurate project plan, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Seek exposure to varied projects and learn from more experienced team members.

Requirements:

  • A 4-year degree in an accredited industry-related curriculum or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years' experience as an Assistant Superintendent or three to five years of construction-related experience.
  • Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing site activity, anticipating field-related issues, and establishing site schedules.
  • Prior success in managing site safety and insurance risks.
  • Demonstrated prior success in managing small-scale construction projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and construction scheduling programs used by the company.
  • Ability to navigate conditions present at a construction site safely.
