Job Summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Spaulding Downtown Crossing. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
  • Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
  • Uphold the PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft office applications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
