Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team at Cabell Huntington Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality radiological services in a fast-paced environment.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA only and as required)
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only as required)
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required)
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required)
  • State License Verification: Primary Source Verification
  • Tech Cert Verification: National (Allied Licensure Report)
  • HIPAA: Safety Manual Acknowledgement (Required)
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required onsite within 2 weeks if not before start
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological procedures in a busy trauma center.
  • Work independently in surgical settings utilizing C-Arms and portable equipment.
  • Handle trauma cases with a high level of expertise.
  • Manage a daily caseload that varies based on trauma and surgical demands.
  • Anticipate performing between 24-35 studies per shift.
Schedule Details
  • 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday.
  • Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays, requiring at least three weeks for compliance.
Unit Specific Information
  • This position requires proficiency in a high-stakes environment, including a pediatric hospital within the facility.
  • Expect to work in a busy ICU and burn unit.
Additional Information
  • A government-issued photo ID is required.
  • Residency declaration form is necessary if working on a compact license.
  • Annual education review and attestation are mandatory.
  • A confidentiality agreement must be completed.
  • Facility will assign educational modules to HealthStream accounts.
