We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and business needs.
- Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients, either in-person or virtually, to gather information and provide tax planning recommendations.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liability and increase their financial well-being.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to clients.
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
