Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Land Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Civil Group, you will assist the Civil Group Leader with design and project management, performing technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or water/natural resources projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Civil Group Leader with Design and Project Management
  • Perform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or water/natural resources projects
  • Site planning, design, and grading
  • Stormwater management design, erosion & sediment control design landscape planning, assessments, and design
  • Entrance Plan design
  • Prepare record and construction plans for agency/municipal review
  • Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
  • Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 7 or more years of experience in land development (preferably in Delaware or Maryland)
  • P.E. required (Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and/or New Jersey preferred)
  • Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs. DNREC experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designers
  • AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D a plus
  • Familiarity with Hydro CAD, Hydraflow or other stormwater modeling software
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus
