Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Services Supervisor to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Food Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily staff activities for the Food Services department, providing leadership, orientation, training, mentoring, and coaching to staff, and ensuring staff compliance with all regulatory food and employee safety, sanitation requirements, HACCP guidelines, and departmental policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily staff activities for the Food Services department.
  • Provide leadership, orientation, training, mentoring, and coaching to staff.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle and resolve complex issues and complaints to enhance employee and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform staff responsibilities to fulfill departmental needs, when necessary.
  • Coordinate and supervise staffing assignments based on daily volumes.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all regulatory food and employee safety, sanitation requirements, HACCP guidelines, and departmental policies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years food service experience

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Shift:

This is a part-time position working days.
