We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Road Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fleet road equipment to ensure compliance with trucking regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, and other heavy machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles according to established standards
  • Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability in a timely and accurate manner
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed
Requirements:
  • 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Competency Relating to Equipment Repairs
  • Ability to Comply with EPA And OSHA Regulations as Pertaining to The Shop and Fleet
  • Ability to Read and Understand Technical and Service Manuals
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Functions Simultaneously in A Fast-Paced Environment with Minimal Supervision
  • Computer and Software Experience
