This role involves working closely with a diverse group of students, aiding in their communication development under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Implement tailored education plans (IEPs) as directed by the SLP.
- Track and document student progress effectively.
- Prepare necessary therapy materials and engaging activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel.
- Participate in IEP meetings and relevant school discussions as required.
- Maintain precise and timely records of therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related discipline.
- Experience with school-aged children is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
