Job Summary:

The R&O Contract Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues affecting assigned customer sets and managing all Repair Contracts and Orders. As the primary Customer Contact for all Repair & Overhaul Work in Process, this individual must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review and Management: Review customer contracts/requirements on incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard terms and conditions.
  • Order Fulfillment: Enter and manage order fulfillment transactions for all assigned customers or products, verifying PO requirements and writing work instructions as needed.
  • Part Procurement and Logistics: Order parts, request quotes, and maintain sales order information in Oracle system, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Shipping and Documentation: Complete all applicable shipping paperwork for the shippers, including FAA tags and assembly of shipping packets.
  • Forecasting and Demand Management: Support Planning and R&O Manager in forecasting parts to maintain in stock for support of contractual TATs and customer satisfaction.
  • Interface and Collaboration: Interface with internal support organizations and R&O Manager/Supervisor to assure requirements are met with respect to improving business metrics (OTD, TAT, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement: Take an active role in the improvement of the R&O and Aftermarket Organization, participating in company-sponsored Continuous Improvement Activities and other training opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain good customer relationships, understanding and communicating current and future customer needs and expectations throughout Crane Aerospace & Electronics.
  • Invoice Collection and Resolution: Coordinate with the customer and internal functional teams to assist in the resolution of invoice collection issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: General working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), familiarity with Oracle operating system, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to delegate duties to hourly employees.
  • Education and Certification: Associate's Degree in Business (Admin.) or equivalent experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle Experience: Familiarity with Oracle operating system and experience with Oracle-based systems.
  • Aerospace Manufacturing Experience: Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment, preferably in a contract administration or logistics role.
  • Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
