Position Summary:

As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will be a dedicated, self-driven individual who takes pride in your work. You will assist the maintenance team and landscaping efforts to uphold the property’s standards. Your role may involve general maintenance tasks, including thorough cleaning and preparing apartments for new residents, all in line with company protocols. Your primary goal is to maintain the highest quality and efficiency in your work.

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with a compensation of $18.00 per hour. A housing discount is also available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed cleaning of designated areas, including pressure washing of buildings and communal spaces.
  • Manage waste disposal by transporting trash to designated areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as wiping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash as necessary.
  • Prepare units for resident move-ins through thorough interior cleaning.
  • Assist with lighting maintenance tasks as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both the team and residents.
  • Support the mission and values of Fairgrove Property Management.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly.
  • Distribute notices and flyers to occupied units.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and identify potential hazards on the property.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Capability to push and pull up to 100 lbs of force.
  • Ability to lift weights of up to 75 lbs below the waist and 45 lbs above the waist.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • A clean driving record with no significant violations is mandatory.
