Job Title: Systems Engineer I

At Calvert Systems Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team. As a Systems Engineer I, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support data flow by monitoring systems data, scripting, and optimizing data flows to and from the collection segment.
  • Review collected data for accuracy and proper formatting, and proactively review historical dataflow statistics to troubleshoot any anomalies.
  • Direct interaction with Corporate dataflow teams to uphold backend processing operations and meet corporate requirements.
  • Provide data flow support to Capabilities teams in deploying, upgrading, and decommissioning operational systems.
  • Analyze dataflow-related reports and statistics to maintain an updated status on the health of HCSO operational mission systems' collection capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management.
  • Five (5) years of systems engineering experience on projects with similar software may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
  • Previous work experience using NIFI.
