Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Engineer to provide day-to-day support to production on Manufacturing Engineering related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to collaborate with production teams to ensure the availability of assembly processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure plant processes are properly documented from work instructions through completion of drawing.
  • Work to continuously improve processes by using Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools.
  • Ensure Product Structures are correct.
  • Ensure assembly times are monitored and documented, and related issues tracked, to provide input on needed improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Autodesk 2015 2D and 3D.
  • Exposure/certified in LEAN manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
  • Microsoft office applications used frequently.
  • Good interpersonal skills to influence team members.
