Overview

**Hospice Care Role**

As a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse with Capital Caring Health, you will provide compassionate care to patients and their families in their homes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
* Assist with patient and family education
* Document patient care and progress
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

**Requirements:**

* 1 year of recent nursing experience
* Licensure from the governing body for practice in the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia
* Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) certification
* Driver's license in good standing and access to a vehicle during working hours

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience in home care nursing and care of the terminally ill and their families
* CHLPN certification
