Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Cypress/Klein/Champions Forest. This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position based in our North Houston division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
  • Act as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork as needed.
  • Participate in agency meetings to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
