About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Support Technician to join our team at FullBloom. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with intensive behavioral needs in special education and alternative education settings nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans.
  • Provide consistent monitoring and support to students in various settings, including classrooms and transition areas.
  • Support the creation and implementation of positive behavioral intervention strategies and school site incentive programs.
  • Record and track behavioral incidents and progress toward goals, providing documentation as needed.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical intervention if necessary to maintain student and staff safety.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages the development of appropriate social and behavioral skills.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop differentiated support for students with more intensive needs.
  • Participate in debriefing processes with staff after challenging behavior/crisis situations.
  • Facilitate communication with parents and guardians.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
  • Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations in a composed and positive manner.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support students and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
