We are currently seeking a Manager of Events to enhance our Corporate Events division. This dynamic team is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of a diverse array of in-person events, ranging from large industry conferences to unique activations and proprietary gatherings.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Event Strategy and will involve close collaboration with various internal teams, particularly sales, marketing, and product departments.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational abilities, a project management orientation, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset to lead and support the development of engaging experiences that resonate with potential clients and elevate our brand presence. This individual should be adept at navigating change while managing multiple events and stakeholders, thriving in a team-oriented environment, and successfully overseeing large-scale initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive management and execution of industry conference sponsorships and independent activations for all Publicis Groupe products, including retail media, digital solutions, technology, and data.
  • Utilize outstanding project management, organizational, and communication skills to guarantee flawless execution across all events.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to formulate bold event strategies and creative activations that drive revenue and pipeline growth, with a keen focus on ROI and consistent messaging across all event initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies (before, during, and after events) to enhance lead generation and engagement.
  • Evaluate both contracted and prospective events against strategic criteria to ensure audience alignment, identify new opportunities, and work with key sales and product stakeholders to determine the most impactful events for Publicis Groupe's presence.
  • Establish objectives and monitor key performance indicators related to event success, such as on-site engagements, lead generation, post-event follow-up, and ROI.
  • Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, collaborating closely to build consensus, align on objectives, and execute deliverables within set timelines.
  • Manage ongoing vendor and event partner relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contract oversight, and invoicing.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing industry conferences and/or bespoke events, both large and small scale, within the B2B technology or event production sectors.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, product, and cross-functional teams, as well as leadership, on event strategy and execution.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, project management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record of leading comprehensive events or diverse work streams from initial goal setting through development, execution, and evaluation.
  • Capability to manage projects with remote contributors and stakeholders efficiently.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry knowledge (media, advertising, technology, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with Salesforce, Splash, and Workfront is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to events as necessary.
