About this Role
As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with TotalMed, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers throughout their labor and delivery experience. Your expertise will ensure the safe arrival of newborns into the world.

Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. This will involve monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, assessing progress during labor, and assisting with pain management techniques to ensure a comfortable birthing experience. Additionally, you will collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.

Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience. Strong communication and adaptability skills are also essential.
