Job Title: Registered Clinical Dietitian

ProMedica Flower Hospital is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team in Sylvania, OH. As a key member of our nutrition care team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, and providing education to patients and caregivers. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic diets and nutrition-related topics
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely nutrition care
  • Document patient information and care plans in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status and/or successful completion of the national registration examination (RD) within 120 days of hire
  • Licensed dietitian (LD) through the State Medical Board of Ohio
  • One to three years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an academic hospital
