Job Title: Registered Clinical Dietitian

ProMedica Flower Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team in Sylvania, OH. As a key member of our nutrition care team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients in acute care settings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying patients at risk of malnutrition, conducting thorough nutrition assessments, and developing individualized nutrition care plans. You will also provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic diets and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic diets
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based nutrition care
  • Document patient information and care plans in the electronic medical record
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field
  • Completion of a dietetic internship
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status or eligibility to register within 120 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Experience in acute care settings, preferably in an academic hospital
  • Licensed dietitian (LD) through the State Medical Board of Ohio
Working Conditions:

This role requires standing, moving, and walking for extended periods, and the ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the hospital.
