{"POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairman to join our team at the Ray Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production electric shovels and drills, as well as other mining support equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Carry out preventative maintenance on electric shovels and drills, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and repair major components on electric shovels and drills, including replacement and rebuild.
* Perform preventative maintenance and repair on forklifts and boom, as well as other equipment such as transporters and support equipment.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Availability to work any shift, including weekends, with rotating shifts and 24/7/365 operations.
* Ability to work in adverse climate/temperature environments.
* Ability to wear a respirator in conditions of fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
* Ability to work in confined spaces.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Completion of a college program or certificate, or two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* High School Diploma or GED.
