Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication, addressing concerns and answering questions in a professional and empathetic manner.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or related field.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures, including CT scanning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
