Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including inserting intravenous lines and setting up patients for MRI scans
  • Provide emergency medical care, including CPR, as indicated and directed by physicians or nurses
  • Perform contrast injections per protocol as necessary
  • Develop and implement protocols for MRI procedures, including cardiac imaging
  • Monitor and maintain MRI system images and coils for wear
  • Perform quality assurance tests as necessary
Requirements:
  • One year of previous RRT experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • ARRT Licensure with MRI Certification (preferred)
