Job Title: Director of MDS

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of MDS to join our team at Arbor View Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting and coordinating the development, completion, and transmission of the resident assessment in accordance with state requirements and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and coordinate the development and completion of preliminary and comprehensive resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that the care plan includes measurable objectives and timetables to meet the resident's medical, nursing, mental, and psychosocial needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update comprehensive resident assessments and care plans.
  • Evaluate resident conditions and pertinent medical data to determine any need to amend the admission assessment.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents, preferably in a Skilled Nursing environment.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved RN program.
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN.
  • Current valid CPR certification.
