About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at SouthernCare. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer patients as needed
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, or geriatric care
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
