Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless delivery of medical services.
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, taking vital signs and recording information in patient charts.
- Interview patients to obtain medical histories, reconcile medication lists, and record information in patient charts.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, recording them in patient charts.
- Assist with surgical procedures, maintaining asepsis and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Order and maintain supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organized department.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to departmental goals.
- LPN licensure based on corresponding position location.
- One-year experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of medications, including side effects and contraindications.
- Ability to read and review pathology results with patients.
- Proficiency in autoclave sterilization and basic knowledge of surgical instruments.
