Paoletta Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Child Behavioral Support Specialists to deliver both Individual and ABA Services to children in the Mercer County Area.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent High School Graduates and College Students to acquire training and hands-on experience while working with children and applying interventions related to Applied Behavior Analysis.
As a Child Behavioral Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one support to children in various settings such as schools, homes, and community environments to enhance their social and academic achievements.
Implementing behavioral strategies and skill development techniques.
Gathering and analyzing data on student behavior and progress.
Maintaining communication with parents, educators, and other professionals regarding the child's development.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Experience in working with children and a strong ability to understand and address their behavioral needs.
Possession of a certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) -OR- a high school diploma (or equivalent) along with completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List (This training will be provided by the employer). -OR- A minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering behavioral health services.
All candidates must obtain a Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, and an FBI Background Check prior to starting employment.
