**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans' Nursing Home. As a Senior CNA, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with feeding, hydration, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the primary nurse or RN supervisor.
  • Use proper techniques for mechanical lifts, transferring, and positioning.
  • Document all care given on the appropriate form or electronic patient care documentation system.
  • Respond to resident requests and needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Notify the nurse of any changes in the resident's condition.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Florida.
  • Must be willing and able to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, including a Level II background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of employment experience in a long-term care facility.
