Chief Nursing Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing team at Riverwoods Behavioral Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating the delivery of nursing services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise nursing personnel to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to meet regulatory and quality care standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Anticipate and manage changes in census and acuity to allocate nursing resources effectively
  • Lead and develop the nursing staff to ensure performance goals are met
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
  • Six or more years of nursing experience, with three or more years in behavioral health
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required
