Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in research at the nexus of computational methodologies and epidemiological studies
  • Collaborate with faculty and researchers in the Department of Computer Science and other departments across the university
  • Develop and apply computational methods and data analysis techniques to advance knowledge in epidemiological modeling and public health informatics
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and secure external funding
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in epidemiology and public health
Requirements
  • PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate or a strong record of publications
  • Strong background in epidemiological research and computational methods
  • Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Track record of successful collaboration and interdisciplinary research
  • Ability to secure external research funding
