Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with expertise in insurance policy domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices, with the ability to analyze and interpret policy data to ensure accuracy. Knowledge in insurance rating systems and policy administration systems is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to production support issues by performing initial triage and analysis, providing end-user support, and documenting workarounds.
  • Investigate and use data analytics to determine how solutions or processes are performing after deployment and recommend improvements.
  • Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key business users to gain consensus and final business approval.
  • Mentor other Business Analysts to support consistent business analysis practices across all projects and lines of business.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
  • Knowledge in insurance rating systems and policy administration systems.
  • Experience with policy administration solutions, such as Guidewire or Duck Creek or Majesco or One shield.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
