Customer Service Representative Job Description
Orion180 is a premier insurance solution provider seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences by supporting and empowering agents and policyholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-tier service by navigating multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
- Research and identify solutions using advanced computer-based resources.
- Work in a paperless environment, prioritizing customer privacy and security.
- Learn and apply multiple underwriting guides and manuals.
- Review completed inspections and make decisions on insurance risks.
- Process acceptable risks through our system and prepare necessary documents for those that are not.
- Handle emails and phone calls from agents and policyholders with professionalism and care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferred: Experience in Personal Lines insurance and familiarity with customer databases or comparable technology.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain a 440, 2044, or 220 Property Casualty License within 60 days.
- Skills: Strong interest in using and promoting innovation and technology; excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and customer service skills; strong written, verbal, and listening skills; analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office software and insurance databases.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to build positive relationships with policyholders and agents; reliable, dependable, and punctual with excellent attendance; self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
