Virtual Special Education Instructional Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Instructional Specialist to join our innovative virtual learning program in the Burlington area. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working from home.
About the PositionThe ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Special Education and valid Vermont teaching certification with Special Education endorsement. A minimum of 1+ years special education experience is required, with proficiency in educational technology and virtual learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver specialized instruction through virtual platforms.
- Develop and maintain IEPs for assigned students.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with general education teachers on accommodations and modifications.
- Conduct virtual meetings with parents and staff.
- Maintain accurate special education records and documentation.
- Participate in professional development activities.
