Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer Project Manager to join our team at MLS Technologies Inc. as a Plant Automation Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects related to manufacturing plants, including project scoping, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Design and oversee the preparation of construction drawings packages for capital projects.
  • Oversee field construction activities and ensure projects are completed within established scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop project scopes, estimate equipment and engineering costs, and prepare project schedules for Appropriation Requests.
  • Work with existing facilities for maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code and ability to design power and motor circuits.
  • Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, and major power components, as well as utility interface with customer power systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and handle multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with ARC Flash requirements and NFPA-70.
  • Knowledge of AC variable speed drives and Motor Control Centers.
  • Ability to specify and setup field instrumentation.
