In the role of Lead Medical Physicist, you will embark on a rewarding career path that offers the chance to lead, oversee, and enhance the Radiation Oncology Physics Program. This position comes with unique challenges and fulfilling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Treatment Planning: Supervise and support dosimetrists in the formulation of treatment plans. Collaborate with radiation oncologists to innovate techniques and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality assurance checks on treatment equipment. Calibrate machines and manage specialized physics projects.
- Radiation Safety: Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer for the Cancer Treatment Center, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
- Brachytherapy: Maintain accurate records of radionuclide usage and manage the assembly and preparation of brachytherapy sources.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a Master's Degree in Medical Physics, with board eligibility or certification by the ABR in Therapeutic Medical Physics. A strong understanding of radiation therapy procedures and best practices is essential.
Preferred qualifications: 3-5 years of clinical experience, familiarity with Linac-based SRS and SBRT, and experience with Linear Accelerators, Aria, and Eclipse.
