About the Role

Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will participate in the care of inpatients under the supervision of a physician, admitting and rounding on patients as needed. They will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and support.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, as well as current PA licensure. A minimum of two years of experience as a PA is required, along with a current CT Controlled Substance Registry and DEA certification.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with strong critical-thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills. You should be responsive to patient and clinical needs, with a customer service-focused approach. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, flexibility in scheduling, and ability to work on teams and provide leadership are also essential.

Benefits and Compensation

This is a per diem position, offering competitive pay rates commensurate with experience. The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on qualifications and location.
