Job Title: Art Handler Inventory Control

UOVO is seeking an experienced Art Handler Inventory Control professional to join its dynamic team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of art objects, inventory control, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly handle and package art objects for local, national, and international transportation and storage.
  • Prepare and execute paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and condition reports.
  • Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities, ensuring accurate inventory control and reconciliation.
  • Pack artworks for transportation and storage, adhering to UOVO's inventory control standards.
  • Update UOVO's database with accurate information regarding inventory dimensions, pack types, location scans, and other relevant details.
  • Assist with inventory audits and other inventory control projects as needed.
  • Support internal teams and other projects as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a cloud-based inventory management software and warehousing, art handling, or collections management.
  • Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly/cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
