Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at California Skin Institute Management LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information to patients' medical records
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination and treatment
  • Assist providers in preparing patients and facilities for minor surgeries
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including equipment sterilization
  • Assist with scheduling of patient's tests and treatments
  • Clean and spore test the autoclave, adhering to scheduled maintenance and maintain records
  • Process prescription refills in compliance with established procedures

Requirements

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a qualified medical assistant
  • Prior experience in plastic surgery is required
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software, Nextech
