POSITION OVERVIEW


The Senior Finance Manager will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of the monthly financial closing process, financial disclosures, internal governance, and investment management.

This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely to prepare the team for substantial growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Finance

CPA Certification
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Remote work options are available based on the location of the Senior Finance Manager and the operational needs of The Yarrow Group.

Travel may be necessary for this role if the Senior Finance Manager is located outside of the designated corporate area.

This position should be within reasonable travel distance to the corporate office.

In cases where travel to the corporate office is required, sufficient advance notice will be provided, and travel expenses will be covered.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the month-end closing activities for multiple entities

Ensure timely and precise financial reporting

Manage financial reporting and cash flow systems

Develop and evaluate operational forecasts and budgets for ongoing investments

Maintain accounting records for investment funds and assets

Administer investor capital balances and reporting

Prepare calculations for investor capital calls, distributions, and management fees

Establish, implement, and monitor robust internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with statutory regulations

Assist with various internal and external reporting obligations, including debt compliance

Support new acquisitions following investment

Lead the annual audit process and tax return preparation with external CPA firms

Engage in technology initiatives

Perform additional duties as assigned
