Job Summary

As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's computer systems, including network infrastructure, tools, technologies, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation
    • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Configure and administer networking hardware, including servers, routers, switches, and cabling.
    • Implement and customize network infrastructure for secure and efficient connectivity using firewalls, switches, access points, UPS, PDU, MDF, IDF, and MPOE.
  • Network Monitoring and Performance Benchmarking
    • Perform routine server, network, and security monitoring and performance benchmarking.
    • Develop and examine network diagrams to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Incident Response and Security
    • Monitor networking operations and technologies, respond to potential threats, and establish standards for response and remediation.
    • Conduct regular security audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Technical Support and Training
    • Provide technical support and training for users on network-related issues.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, procedures, and standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate reports on network performance, security, and uptime.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience administering networking infrastructure and implementing networking projects.
    • Experience with incident response management, next-gen firewalls, web application firewalls, multi-factor authentication, data loss prevention, and disaster recovery.
  • Skills and Certifications
    • Proven experience managing and supporting enterprise networks with strong technical knowledge of network and application systems security, configuration, and connectivity optimization.
    • Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Ability to exhibit high degree of passion, self-motivation, and successful interaction/communication with a diverse population of end-users and vendors.
    • Ability to effectively and thoroughly troubleshoot issues.
    • Ability to work nights and weekends to provide support as needed.
