Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- One year of experience in a pediatric or neonatal intensive care unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: National Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (RNC-NIC) or Pediatric Critical Care (PCCRN).
