Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements training programs for field and corporate personnel, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Supports outside consultants with training program preparation and administration, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Administers qualification tests and determines attendee eligibility, ensuring fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.
  • Prepares and distributes training aids, manages audiovisual equipment, and presents training materials to engage and inform attendees.
  • Develops, writes, and revises training manuals and materials, incorporating course content, visual aids, and multimedia to enhance learning experiences.
  • Implements craft training for field staff, assisting Superintendents with criteria and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Coordinates continuing education seminars with Operations, ensuring timely and effective delivery of training programs.
  • Assists in identifying training needs through needs analysis, providing valuable insights to inform training program development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in adult training preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to moderate large groups comfortably.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to personal and employee development, with a focus on continuous learning and growth.
  • Advanced proficiency in managing and using databases, including spreadsheets, to create reports and support insights for decision-making.

Location and Travel

This position will be based out of our Sioux Center, IA, Omaha, NE, or Sioux Falls, SD office, with occasional travel required to support business needs.
