About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor 2 to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for providing production surveying duties, applying diversified knowledge of principles and practices in areas of land surveying related fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex survey duties associated with construction stakeout and boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys.
  • Research historic maps, land records, previous surveys, and land title reports.
  • Complete boundary reductions and mapping/topographic field reductions in CAD/survey software.
  • Download, maintain, and verify accuracy of project survey data and manage survey database.
  • Review survey production and final products, processed data collection, and field notes for quality control.
  • Proficiency with survey computations, staking/control exhibits, and survey crew instructions for construction staking and field survey projects.
  • Knowledge for the operation and assistance of operation of GPS equipment, total stations, levels, data collectors, and other survey equipment.
  • Lead CAD Techs in preparing plans and plats describing in detail the surveys performed.
  • Maintain professional and productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers.
  • Mentor and assist in training junior staff members.
  • Operate a company vehicle and observe safety and security procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science (BS) or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent required.
  • LS License required.
  • 6 years of experience minimum required, 7 preferred, in the Surveying Construction Industry.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier.
