Perimeter Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at our inpatient psychiatric hospital in Garland, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to assigned adult patients with psychiatric conditions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate each patient's care, producing a comprehensive nursing assessment and care plan
  • Develop measurable goals on the Multi-disciplinary Treatment Plan with the treatment team and patient
  • Complete daily progress notes for assigned patients
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment that respects patients' rights
  • Maintain professional relationships with patients, family members, and staff

Requirements:

  • Active Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or eligible compact license
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school
  • New graduates welcome to apply, but prefer some inpatient experience in a behavioral health setting
  • CPR certification required
  • Shifts needed: 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with rotating weekend shifts
